At GoView, we use camera layout software to create your security site plan. This ensures good communication and helps avoid misunderstandings.
Our software allows us to select an exact camera model. The camera is placed on a scaled site plan. We can then see simulated images under varying light conditions.
There is no guesswork when it comes to capturing a face or license plate - you know in advance.

Step 1: We take your site plan and upload it into our design software. We overlay it with the satellite image and scale the plan.
Step 2: We determine the best location for our system based on many factors including solar optimization and camera views.
Step 3: We create digital intrusion zones (ROI or regions of interest).
CAMERA SELECTION
Step 4: We work with you to select the appropriate cameras for your system. We take into account factors such as budget, existing site problems, potential losses and threats, to determine the best cameras. There are hundreds manufacturers and thousands of camera models to choose from.
CAMERA SIMULATION
Step 5: We place the camera on the layout and perform testing. The software creates simulated images and performs calculations to determine the possible performance of the camera under various conditions. We can verify:
- PPF (pixels per square foot)
- Day/Night Image
- Image Noise
- Blind Spots
